ROTAY goes Greenland

Pushing limits

In August 2006 an Austrian expedition team will attempt to cross Greenland lengthwise from Narsasuag to Qaanaag - a distance of 2200 kilometers and an undertaking only three expeditions have ever succeeded in.

The team only consists of two men, their Pulkas and SnowKites. No help from outside will be provided at any time.

At temperatures of -25 degrees cent and wind strength of 130 kilometers/ hour, perfect training of body and mind in vital.

Having the right gear is of course also of utmost importance when you have to survive and work in harsh conditions like in Greenland.

ROTAY has supplied  the expidition with CamelBak Hydration systems to guarantee an optimum provision of water during the whole expedition.

We wish the team all the best luck and are convinced that they will not only make the 2200 kilometers but also in the best time ever!

GOOD LUCK
